The new METRIX® SCOPIX IV oscilloscope is fully portable and does not need to be plugged in for use. It conforms to IP54 and is equipped with four channels, each completely isolated from one another and from ground in compliance with 600 V CAT III. It provides the following modes of analysis: Multimeter, logic analyser, data logger and access to files previously saved on the oscilloscope itself. The equipment is ideally suited to the display of very high-speed signals, such as Ethernet or FlexRay signals.

The concept and development of the equipment were based on the latest cutting-edge technology. Operating menus are available in 13 languages and the keypad and case design of the SCOPIX IV are designed for optimum comfort. Using the multi-channel digital TRMS multimeter it is possible to measure amplitude, resistance, continuity, capacitance, frequency and temperature to 8000 digits at speeds of up to 200 kHz without having to exchange the PROBIX measurement probes. It is also possible to test individual components. Recorder and data logger functions are also available in multimeter mode. It allows automatic graphic recordings of signals to be made with date and time stamps (N files of 100 000 measurements each at a sampling rate of one every 0.2 seconds).
